As we come to the close of another year, my prayer for you is that you will not leave this year the same way you came in. I truly believe our future will look different as we leave the things of the past behind, such as old mindsets, grudges, pride, and behaviors that are not pleasing to God.
The Israelites roamed around in the wilderness for forty years on what was supposed to be an eleven-day journey. Therefore, their thinking, complaining, and actions held them captive so that they roamed around in a continuous circle. Never able to move forward. What we choose to carry into the next year can hold us captive or set us free. God wants to do something new in 2024. And as we ask Him to help us change our thoughts, life, actions, and words, He will draw us closer to Him. For many, the hopes and dreams within your heart have been simmering for years. But God wants to remove what has held you captive. So that what has been hidden within your heart will overflow. People will drink from your overflowing cup of God’s love everywhere you go because your heart has been positioned in the place with Him. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 As I was praying, I saw a vision of people coming from fields of crops that had been planted. They were coming by the millions out of the fields. And I heard the spirit of the Lord saying, the harvest is ready, but the workers are few. Where are those who will harvest the wheat? He is the God of the harvest.
The kingdom is not discovered in one place or another, for God’s kingdom realm is already expanding within some of you. Luke 17:21 (TPT) Some are ready to harvest the fields but afraid to step out. They are fearful of what the world will say about them. Yet, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is power. Walk in it. You will not walk in timidity but in power, love, and a sound mind. So stop dabbling in the things of the world. And set your thoughts on things above. Allow His kingdom to come within you rather than expecting it around you. Set your affection on heaven rather than on the things of the world. Know that the lust of the flesh has no place in the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom within you will develop the spirit man within you. Continue to press toward the mark of the hi-calling. Allow Holy Spirit to saturate your being. Go after the things of God with every part of your being. And He will meet you there. Matthew 9:36-38, 2 Corinthians 3:17, 2 Timothy 1:7, Colossians 3:1-3, Philippians 3:14 Several weeks ago, I was praying and listening to the spirit of the Lord for what he had in store for the year 2023. I kept hearing the word awakening as I pondered this in my heart and began to ask the Lord what he wanted to say about awakening. This will be a year of spiritual Awakening for His people.
The disciples asked Jesus, why do you talk in parables when you talk to the people? Jesus answered, You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. Therefore, those who listen to my teaching more understanding will be given, and they will have abundant knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even the little understanding they have will be taken away from them. For they look, but they don't really see. They hear, but they don't really listen or understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says, When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them. Matthew 13:10-15 (NLT) 2023 will be a year of shedding. Shedding the covering and revealing the truth of who people really are. For that which has been hidden is about to be revealed, exposed in plain view for all who have eyes to see. It will be the year of release from captivity. Those who have been held captive from pursuing their God-given passions and dreams will be awakened to a new day dawning within their spirit man. Spiritual lack and poverty will become a thing of the past as those who have eyes to see and ears to hear draw near to the throne of God in the quiet place of time alone with Him. He invites you to seek Him while He may be found. Those who seek Him will be awakened to a fresh revelation of who He is and why He came. Remember that without Him, we can do nothing. Only by the Spirit of God will the Seed planted in man's heart reproduce the things of God. 2023 will be a year of spiritual restitution because God is about to restore all that the locust has eaten. But with His promises come conditions, and your obedience and faithfulness to Him and His word are required. So allow Him to open your eyes and ears as He transforms you into the likeness of Him and who He called you to be in the earth while living from the perspective of heaven. Just as Lazarus came forth from the grave still bound in grave clothes, many who profess to know the Lord God as Savior and King have been walking around with their spirits bound up in things of the past and lies that they believe. However, the Spirit of the Lord would say unbind them and set them free! Just as Jesus spoke and Lazarus was set free, so shall you speak, and those who are spiritually bound shall be set free. But before we can live from a heavenly dimension, we must command our souls to be still and know He is God. And then, as Samuel, we can say, "Speak Lord, for your servant is listening. And others will see, and they will know that the Spirit of the Lord is alive and well on the planet earth through His people. Then Jesus shouted Lazarus, come out! And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in grave clothes, his face wrapped in a head cloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!” John 11:43-44 (NLT) Stop allowing the spirit of the world to rob you of your God-given inheritance and rise up into your rightful place as a son and daughter of the highest God and King. In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. Opposition to truth cannot be excused based on ignorance because, from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God's nature have been made visible, such as His eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without an excuse. Romans 1:18-20 (TPT) Ephesians 5:14, Romans 13:11, Luke 8:17, Jeremiah 29:13, Isaiah 55:6, Matthew 9:17, John 15:5, John 12:24-26, Romans 12:2, Colossians 3:10, John 8:12, 1 Samuel 15:22, Mark 11:22, Deuteronomy 32:9, Psalm 46:10, 1 Samuel 3, 2 Corinthians 6:18 I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying;
When I formed you in your mother's womb I chose you and set you apart as mine. There has never been a part of you that was unqualified to fulfill my call and purpose for your life. Because those I have called and chosen I will equip to fulfill all that is in my plan for them. Although there will be a time of endurance it is in that place that I will cause your spirit to prosper. And I will certainly carry out my plans for you in my time. So do not become discouraged but keep your eyes on me and allow me to become the passion of your heart and life for it is there you will find peace. Posture your heart in the place of worship with me. It is in the place of your passion for me that you will find the fullness of my love for you and my voice will become clear to you. It is then and only then you will be ready to step out into the destiny and purpose to which I have called you. For I will open doors no man can shut and close doors that no man can open. So look to me, posture your heart in the place of rest with me. Listen and allow me to speak for it is there you will learn of my love for you there you will hear me whisper your name. It is in that place you will be filled to overflowing and be able to pour out onto others my love for them. Come deep into my presence, come deep into my love for only in my presence is what you long for from above. Above the cares and worries, above the guilt and shame You can rise above it, as you call upon my name. My child I long to bless you, I long for your embrace as you come before me, don’t be afraid to seek my face. For in the eyes of mercy, my grace does abound As in my hands I hold you, until you wear the crown. Kathleen VonSeggern Above all Stand! Guard the affections of your heart.
Pray for a deep intimacy of knowing God more clearly. I believe there is coming a persecution of the Christians. I believe we will eventually be forced into an underground church. For now, I believe God is saying go back to the parables. I will give you the wisdom of how to speak in parables and understand parables. This will be to protect you, for there will be those who appear to be hungry and thirsty for fellowship and my word. But they will be planted by the enemy. Be ware of the wolves in sheep's clothing. Pray for discernment of the spirits for this will be critical in the days to come. Above all Stand! Keep your focus! Do not waiver to the right or to the left. Stay in your lane and see what God will do. For this will be a day of Unity and healing in the body of Christ. I hear the word alignment. We need to stay in Alignment with what God is doing in this Season. The only way to be in alignment is to keep our focus on the Lord. Alignment for assignment and unity in the body of Christ. Stay the Course! Keep focused beyond the noise. So that your candle flame may remain lite. Listen for the whisper. When the world is load around you listen for the whisper. Above all Stand Stay in Alignment Stay the Course Set the Precedence Keep your Focus He is calling His soldiers into alignment with Him calling them into formation. Beware of who you align yourself with. Beware of where your heart and your thoughts are aligned. Beware of what you allow to come into your life through your thought life. Beware of how your getting into formation. Is it His way or your way? Beware that you open your mouth with wisdom. come there will be unrest, uncertainty and upheaval. B"Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25 “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.” Matthew 24:45 |
