The Hope of Glory
What is God saying to us in the year 2020, through the alignment of the stars by giving us the honor of seeing (so close to Christmas when we celebrate Jesus birth) what the star of Bethlehem must have looked like many years ago in the sky that night, which lead the Magi to the manger of the King who came to earth as a child.
I believe He is saying “I am the hope of glory. I am the great I am.” 2020 has been a year of chaos, violence, riots & political unrest. The government has tried to shut the church down and shut the people of God up, but to no avail. Just as they tried to shut down and shut up the son of God. The star shone bright in the sky that night, proclaiming the birth of a king. I believe the star that has shined so bright in these past December nights of 2020 are shining to remind us that it doesn’t matter what’s going on in the world today. Just as it didn’t matter what was going on in the world thousands of years ago. Because He is the hope of glory. He is the great I am. And that has never changed. His light shone than and His light still shines today in the life’s and hearts of those who know Him as their Lord and King. He brought hope to the world the day He came as a child and He still brings hope today. For He has promised, “I will NEVER leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 We must hang onto the hope of our savior and king for His light that shines in the darkness will never be snuffed out.
